New York Hall of Science

The New York Hall of Science or the NYSCI as it is also known is located within the Flushing-Meadows-Corona Park in Queens, one of the Boroughs of New York City. It is a science museum residing in one of the few standing structures dating back to the 1964 New York World’s Fair. It is devoted to hands-on science and technology, its exhibits mainly focus on biology, physics, and chemistry. Located in Queens NY.

New York Hall of Science Free Admission

General Admission to the New York Hall of Science is Adults for $16, Children between 2 and 17 years of age $13, Student with ID $13, and Senior citizens $13. Free admission is available from September through June on Fridays from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. And Sundays from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M.

General admission hours for the New York Hall of Science is Mondays through Fridays from 9:30 A.M. to 5 P.M. And Saturdays and Sundays from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. Tickets can be purchased online.

Free Days at the New York Hall of Science, February 22

On February 22 is the event “Explore the NYSCI for Free.” An opportunity to take the children to the Museum and enjoy more than 450 interactive exhibits, events, and workshops for children of all ages.

New York Hall of Science NYC ID

Until 2017 the New York Hall of Science was a participant member of the IDNYC cardholders program, offering free entrance to certain members of the community who were eligible for the project. Currently, the New York Hall of Science nor the Corona-Meadows Park take part in IDNYC.

Free Days at the New York Hall of Science, March 15

As part of their “Explore NYSCI for free,” the New York Hall of Science offers on March 15 another free exhibition, allowing children of all ages to submerge in a World of science and technology thanks to a collection of 450 interactive exhibits. The museum’s “hands-on science” program has been very successful.
