Flushing Queens, NY Private Investigator and Process Server
Flushing is a vibrant and thriving neighborhood in Queens, one of New York City’s five boroughs. It has a combined population of 176.000, with a predominantly Asian demographic. Although, Flushing is widely known for its culturally-diverse community, and multiple annual celebrations highlighting the rich and historical heritage of all the residing ethnicities. Public transportation isn’t a problem for commuters, there are five Long Island Railroad stations and a New York City Subway Station. Together with Willets Point, Bay Terrace, Queensboro Hill, College Point, Beechhurst, Whitestone, Lindel Hill, Malba, and Murray Hill make up the Queens Community Board 7. ZIP codes are 11354, 11355, and 11358. The police officers of the 109th Precinct of the NYPD are in charge of patrolling the neighborhood.
Although Flushing is mostly a residential neighborhood, some sub-sections such as East Flushing or Downtown Flushing are growing commercial hubs. Roosevelt Avenue is the third busiest intersection in all of New York City, and its intersection with Main Street is the fourth largest business district. The neighborhood is an interesting and eclectic mixture of a typical suburban neighborhood with tree-lined streets and front yards with an NYC lifestyle.
The town’s crown jewel is the Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, who played host to not one but two World Fairs in 1939 and 1964. There are several historical landmarks spread across town, including Flushing Town Hall. Although the crime rate has decreased over the past few years, Flushing still remains as one of the most insecure neighborhoods in Queens.
