Glen Oaks Queens, NY Private Investigator and Process Server
Glen Oaks is a leafy, working-class neighborhood in Queens, one of the five boroughs of New York City, situated on its eastern-most portion. It is close to Long Island’s Nassau County, which is why the town’s atmosphere resembles more of a typical neighborhood of Nassau than it does of an NYC’s. The town is served by multiple ZIP codes, depending on the address, 11040, 11005, 11426, and 11004, this situation has been somewhat of a problem for residents, even to this day. It has a population of nearly 30.000, with a predominantly white demographic, although the Latino-Hispanic and Asian communities are also very important. It is patrolled by the officers of the 105th Precinct of the New York City Police Department.
The Glen Oaks’ housing stock is comprised mostly of the famous Garden Apartments such as Glen Oaks Village, Parkwood Estates, North Shore Towers, and Royal Ranch, built between the 1940s and the 1970s. Public transportation is not a problem, five NYC Bus lines serve commuters daily. The Glen Oaks Oval is one of the public parks within the town. It is also known as the Tenney Park, it has a baseball field home to the Glen Oaks Little League, a playground, and a basketball court. The neighborhood is also home to the47-acres Queens County Farm Museum, the last remaining farmland still in operation today. Situated within the complex, there’s the Adriance Farmhouse, a historical landmark registered on the National Register of Historic Places, it offers free tours, hayrides, and other seasonal events.
