Glendale is a famous location in popular culture, the 1982 movie, A Stranger is Watching, was filmed at the Glendale Bar, and the Woods Inn. The critically acclaimed TV show NYPD Blue was also filmed at Woods Inn. In the sitcom The King of Queens, the local bar was actually the Yer Man’s Irish Pub in Glendale.
