Mariners Harbor Staten Island, NY Private Investigator and Process Server
Mariners Harbor is an area on the east wing of Staten Island Township in Richmond County, New York City. It is surrounded by different neighborhoods in the district; east of Port Ivory, north of Graniteville, west of Elm Park and Port Richmond, and south of Kill Van Kull. It has a population of about 5,000 people of which the majority are African American, at a density of 19,000/mi². Its northern area, which flows into Newark Bay, is the border between New York and New Jersey, and that section of the neighborhood is often called Arlington by its
inhabitants.
The Via Richmond Terrace runs through the entire Arlington area and is the fastest way to get through the neighborhood. Most of its residential areas are occupied by married couples and single-family homes. The Mariners Harbor postal service serves under zip codes 10302 and 10303. In its western area contains a small neighborhood, which is sub-section of Mariners Harbor, called Arlington, whose name derives from a former resident of the area; Moses Henry Leman, a veteran of the Civil War, who named the area after the Arlington National Cemetery.
Arlington contains the main recreational green area of Mariners Harbor; The Big Park, a park formerly known as Mariners Harbor Houses Playground, due to the improvement of houses near the area. Today this park is for the use of the community, which can enjoy basketball and handball courts, training teams, playgrounds and more. Mariners Harbor has more green areas like the Mariners Harbor Playground and the great West Shore Little League.
