Westmoreland Queens, NY Private Investigator and Process Server
Westmoreland is one of the three sub-sections that make up Little Neck, one of the affluent neighborhoods of the New York City borough of Queens. Like the rest of the communities in Douglaston-Little Neck, Westmoreland isn’t the typical New York City neighborhood. The local atmosphere resembles that of any Nassau County town. It belongs to the Queens Community Board 11, and its ZIP codes are 11362 and 11363. Westmoreland is patrolled by the 111th Precinct of the New York Police Department, currently ranking as the 8th safest Precinct in the City, making Westmoreland a safe community to raise a family.
The housing stock in this residential neighborhood is made out of single-family homes. The architectural style is mostly Tudor, although there are some Colonial, 20th Century bungalows, and Cape-Cod, making of Westmoreland a picturesque community with tree-lined streets, driveways, and massive front lawns. Together with the rest of the subsections of Douglaston and Little Neck, it has a population of approximately 17.000 with a predominantly white demographic. In the political sphere, the community is represented by the 19th and the 23rd District of the New York City Council. There are several notable historical societies across the neighborhood, including the Westmoreland Association, which has been active since 1917, for more than a hundred years, this organization has been protecting the historical heritage of the community.
Public transportation is not an issue for morning commuters, there is one Long Island Rail Road station available, and while there no NYC subway station nearby, the community is served by six bus lines taking people from and to Manhattan.
