Belmont (Arthur Avenue) Bronx, NY Private Investigator and Process Server

The Belmont neighborhood is part of the Bronx district of New York, this area is primarily residential and is surrounded to the north, south, east and west by Fordham Road, East 181st Street, Bronx Park, and Third Avenue respectively, shaping the neighborhood into a half-moon. The 48th Precinct of the New York City Police Department patrols the neighborhood which belongs to the Bronx Community Board 6 whose postal service numbers are 10460, 10457 and 10458.

The neighborhood characterized by having the vibe of a small city with a very supportive and united community and due to its history, it has a section composed of a series of Italian businesses and shops, the Little Italy of the Bronx, as it is mostly known. The Arthur Avenue bears the name of former President Chester A. Arthur, crosses all Belmont being the main way of communication of the neighborhood. It also serves the “Little Italy” of the Bronx as a central commercial and historical area, which is why this street is famous and known for a large number of local markets, cafes, bakeries, and Italian restaurants. This section extends along East 187th Street to Beaumont Avenue.

Italian immigrants came to Belmont in the 1850s, with Morris Park and Arthur Avenue among the first Italia American communities formed in the Bronx district. However, the Italians are not the only ones who make up this neighborhood. Belmont characterized by its ethnic, cultural, religious and origin diversity. Currently, it is composed of a considerable population of Latinos and Hispanics, as well as people of Albanian origin have been registered.
