Cobble Hill Brooklyn, NY Private Investigator and Process Server

Cobble Hill is located within the Brooklyn district of New York City in the United States, specifically in the northwest section of the municipality. This is a small neighborhood that covers about 40 blocks of extension. Cobble Hill is established north of Carroll Gardens, south of Brooklyn Heights, east of Columbia Street Waterfront District, and west of Boerum Hill. Some also consider that a rectangular part of the neighborhood borders Degraw Street in the south, Wyckoff Street in the north, Court Street in the west, and Hoyt Street in the east.

The Cobble Hill community is a member of Brooklyn Community Board 6, and in 191 Union Street is guarded by the 76th New York City Police Department Precinct who are responsible for maintaining safety and tranquility in the area. In the vicinity of Carroll Gardens, Ladder Company 108 and Engine Company 206 of the New York City Fire Department provide solidarity services to the neighborhood if needed.

Previously through its early history, what we now know as Cobble Hill, was once considered part of Red Hook or also known as Sixth Ward on the south side of Brooklyn, or as part of Brooklyn Heights. The name given to the neighborhood comes from an old word that became extinct in the 1880s, which had a renaissance and was again adopted in 1959 to assign its current name to this community in Brooklyn. One of the best collections of houses of the nineteenth century in all of New York, they form a large part of the neighborhood, including in turn in the historic district of Cobble Hill.
