Fordham Manor Bronx, NY Private Investigator and Process Server
Fordham Manor is a sub-section of the Fordham neighborhood located on the west wing of New York City’s Bronx Township. It is located south of Kingsbridge Heights, north of Fordham Heights, east of Inwood and west of the New York Botanical Garden. Originally the area was 6 square miles, owned by Jan Archer who was called Lord of the Mansion by more than 16 families who moved into the area and built their farms in the territory.
The best way to tour the section is through its main Grand Concourse, which passes in the middle of Poe and St. James Parks. Poe Park was named after the American writer Edgar Allan Poe, who had his grana in the area from 1846 to 1849. It was opened to the public in 1902 and later, in 1913, the cabin where Poe wrote some of his books was inaugurated as a tourist site in honor of the writer. The origins of Fordham Manor begin around 1700, which received its name from the mansion named after the same name in the section.
Fordham Manor establishes the important Fordham University, which is a private Catholic university that belongs to the Association of Jesuit Universities. It was founded in 1841 and has more than 16,000 students who can access three different campuses; Marymount campus, Lincoln Center and Rose Hill. There is also a high school close to the university. Fordham Manor’s postal service serves under the zip code 10458 and belongs to Bronx Community Broad number 7.
