Hudson Heights Manhattan, NY Private Investigator and Process Server

Hudson Heights is an area of the large Washington Heights neighborhood, located in the northern part of the Manhattan borough of New York City. It is located east of the Hudson River, south of Inwood and west of Morris Heights. It is considered a residential area as the territory of the neighborhood is composed mostly of apartment buildings and some are cooperative. These buildings are mostly old, built between the 20s and 40s.

In the south is the J. Hood Wright Park, a small but very recreational green area for the community, with basketball, handball and volleyball courts, areas for your pets, recreation centers, spray showers and even areas with free Wi-Fi. The neighborhood also has the George Washington Bridge Park and Bennett Park, which makes it a place with many recreational sites for the whole family. Originally, at the beginning of the 20th century, its territory was the Fort Tryon neighborhood, but over the years, families of artists and talented young people moved to the area, giving it its own touch and modifying it in the last decades.

In the ’90s, the neighborhood was not very diverse, but with the arrival of the new residents, there was a need to create more spaces to house them, so there were processes of gentrification and creation of new developments, which made it become Hudson Heights, a diverse residential neighborhood. With all these changes, crime has been decreasing every time in the area. The Hudson Heights Postal Service serves under zip codes 10033 and 10040.
