Kingsbridge Bronx, NY Private Investigator and Process Server
Kingsbridge is a residential area of Bronx City in New York City. It is considered a working middle-class district. It is also considered a working-class area. It is located in the middle of different areas; east of Irwin Avenue, north of West 230th Street, west of Major Deegan Expressway and south of Manhattan College Parkway. The majority of the land is occupied by single-family homes and apartment buildings. It is a territory that was designed to be pedestrian-friendly, as some streets such as those connecting Riverdale and Kingsbridge include steep streets, with stairs of up to 160 steps up the slopes.
Bronx residents often refer to Riverdale as the rich uncle of Kingsbridge. Inside is one of the largest retail shopping districts in the Bronx, home to more than 200 merchants in a business improvement district. Kingsbridge is located near Marble Hill, Manhattan, from which you can easily access the River Plaza Shopping Centre which is not part of the commercial improvement district. The area has been improved over the years by the community, there has been an improvement in the parks and now there are more first schools on 230th Street.
The name of the neighborhood is named after the King’s Bridge, built-in 1693 and allegedly made by enslaved Africans. Its owner was Frederick Philipse, a local lord and slave loyal to the British monarch. The bridge connected the south of Westchester County and was positioned where 203rd Street is today. It currently has a population of about 10,000 people and is part of the Bronx Community Board 8. Kingsbridge’s zip code is 10463.
