Kips Bay Manhattan, NY Private Investigator and Process Server

Kips Bay is an area located on the eastern wing of the Manhattan district of New York City.  Its port has the United Nation International School and flows into the East River. Kips Bay is located west of this river, south of Murray Hill, east of Koreatown, and north of Peter Cooper Village.

Its dock is built on a bridge that is over the river, which had bigger plans in the ’80s to place residential buildings and hotels, this never happened due to numerous campaigns and protests of environmental protectionists against this project, as it was a threat to the ecosystem of the Rio Este.

Despite everything, the area has had improvement projects over the years, with several new, unfinished skyscraper structures appearing in its territory, and other halfway buildings not far from the street that are not supposed to be seen by the public until they are finished, but the projects have been on standby for so long that it has been inevitable not to see them by the residents of Kips Bay.

Third Ave. runs through several neighborhood cafes and restaurants, while 1st and 2nd Ave. runs through some schools and Bellevue South Park, a park with basketball courts, training equipment, spray showers and more.  Its name comes from a Dutch immigrant, Jacobus Henderson Kip, who had a huge farm on one of his properties in what is now Kips Bay. The Kips Bay Postal Service serves under zip codes 10010 and 10016 and is located in Manhattan Community District 6.
