Little Australia Manhattan, NY Private Investigator and Process Server

Little Australia is an area named after the inhabitants of Mott Street and Mulberry Street due to a large number of Australian emigrants who came to the area and developed their culture forming the largest Little Australia in the world. Located in Nolita, in the southern part of the Manhattan borough of New York City.

The neighborhood’s greatest cultural strength is the Australian coffee influence, and local numbers of Australian-origin coffees, such as the famous Two Hands, Egg Shop, Happy Bones and Ruby’s. As time goes by, more and more coffees appear in Norita, Little Australia, it is almost impossible to go around the area without encountering Australians drinking their coffees in different places, the perfect place to learn their accent just by going through it.

The commercial sector, apart from coffee shops, also has a large number of fashion shops, with Australian-style clothing, with country brands such as Ksubi, Driza-Bone, and Zimmermann competing with their fashion rivals, other American brands. Although it is not an official neighborhood of New York City, it is considered a micro-neighborhood and is one of many Little Australia scattered around the world in different countries.

It is a community that has remained united throughout the years, making a strong present its culture in the city of New York, being characteristic with its style and elegance. Little Australia is in the same district as Chinatown and Little Italy in the municipality of Manhattan.  In mid-2005, the annual national census determined that 5,536 Australians were living in New York City, and then increased to approximately 20,000 Australians in the Big Apple.
