Bruckner Bronx, NY Private Investigator and Process Server

Bruckner is the name of a motorway known as the Bruckner Expressway. This highway located in New York in the Bronx district. From the southern end of the New England Thruway Pelham Parkway junction to the Triborough Bridge, it carries I-95 which was formerly I-878, and Interstate 278. The road follows a course through the South Bronx section mainly between the southwest and northwest of the district, having a parallel alignment with the East River course.

It connects to some of the major highways, on the Bruckner Interchange connects with Hutchinson River Parkway, Cross Bronx Expressway and Whitestone Expressway, as well as the well-known Bronx River Parkway. At the north entrance to the Triborough Bridge is the point where the highway begins its course, just at what is known as the Major Deegan Expressway where the southern end of I-87 meets I-278. This road comes to a meeting point with the short Sheridan Expressway two miles away and turns east into the Soundview neighborhood and crosses the Bronx River connecting with the Bronx River Parkway at the southern end of that road one block north. For the adjoining Castle Hill neighborhood, the Bruckner Expressway remains as I-278.

Robert Moses was the author of the project for the construction of the Bruckner Expressway, he also had the idea of leading the road through the community of Soundview Bronx who had already been affected by 15 years of construction that ended in 1963 with the Cross Bronx Expressway. In 1973 the Bruckner Expressway was completed as one of the last roads to be built in all of New York City and bears the name of former Bronx President Henry Bruckner.
