Cedarhurst Long Island, NY Private Investigator and Process Server

Cedarhurst is one of the towns that form part of Nassau County in New York City in the United States of America, located more precisely on the southern shore of the Long Island district. According to the calculated data provided in the 2010 U.S. Census, at that time it was recorded that the population was composed of 6,592 inhabitants in total, but according to the estimates of the same census, from 2010 until today there has been a population increase of +2.2% since 2010.

Previously there was a post office in the village of Cedarhurst which was composed of a beautiful grove, hence the current name of the village was designated. However, it is officially known as the Incorporated Village of Cedarhurst, which in turn located within the city of Hempstead. Councilman Bruce Blakeman, who is a member of the Hempstead City Board, represents this community. The village encompasses a total of 0.7 square miles or 1.8 km2 of land, according to data recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau.

It attributed to the number 11516 as its main postcode. The town has a train station called Cedarhurst Station, which serves the Long Island Rail Road from the Far Rockaway branch to the Brooklyn Atlantic Terminal to Penn Station in downtown Manhattan. The area’s main business district, Central Avenue, was long considered Long Island’s Rodeo Drive, where all discerning shoppers in the area could shop in luxury boutiques and shops. Many shops and restaurants belong to the local Orthodox Jewish community that has experienced considerable growth in recent years.
