Douglas Bay Queens, NY Private Investigator and Process Server

Douglaston is a very large upper-class neighborhood located in Queens, one of the boroughs of New York City. It is divided into six other sub-neighborhoods, Douglas Bay, Douglas Manor, Douglaston Hill, Douglaston Park, Winchester Estates, and a small area simply known as Douglaston. As one of the sub-neighborhoods comprising Douglaston-Little Neck, Douglas Bay belongs to the Queens Community Board 11 along with Hollis Hill, Bayside, Auburndale, Oakland Gardens, and East Flushing. It also belongs to the New York City School District 26, and it is patrolled by the men in blue from the 111th Precinct of the New York City Police Department. As one of the largest neighborhoods in Queens, Douglaston-Little Neck has one of the most diverse urban experience in all of New York City, while communities like Douglas Bay has more of a Nassau County vibe, others resemble more to a typical NYC neighborhood. Like in the rest of the neighborhood, the local economy in Douglas Bay is compromised mostly of independently owned small restaurants and shops. The commercial hub for the entire community is The Douglaston Plaza Shopping Center.

Douglas Bay is one of the stops in the annual Douglaston Memorial Day parade. The area is also widely famous for their historical societies and other civic organizations tasks with protecting the historical and cultural heritage of the neighborhood. Public transportation in and out of Douglas Bay is available, there is a Long Island Rail Road Station, and five NYC bus lines serve the community.
