Dyker Heights Brooklyn, NY Private Investigator and Process Server

Dyker Heights is part of Brooklyn County in New York City, specifically located in the southwest corner of the municipality. It is a wealthy residential neighborhood that is on a hill between Gravesend Bay, Bensonhurst, Bay Ridge, and Borough Park. The border boundaries of this neighborhood were unofficially marked by 65th Street, Belt Parkway, and 14th and 7th Avenues in the north, south, east, and west, respectively.

Brooklyn Community District 10 is home to the Dyker Heights community, and New York City Council District 43 is the neighborhood’s diplomatic representative if a political issue arises. The 68th Precinct of the New York City Police Department covers and patrols the perimeter of the area ensuring the safety of its residents. It is assigned the number 11228 to serve as its primary zip code and the population is composed of approximately 42,419 people.

The Dyker Heights neighborhood is made up of tree-lined streets maintaining a suburban character that contains very few apartment buildings but predominantly semi-independent homes and single-family homes characterized by their few common private patios and driveways, unusual in some parts of New York City. It also contains a golf course and Dyker Beach Park. Approximately, Dyker Heights can be divided into three sections, the section east of Seventh Avenue, south of 86th Street, and the southernmost section. It has a more exclusive section located between Fort Hamilton Parkway and 14th Avenue, and between 86th Street and Bay Ridge Parkway. In 1928, a civic group called The Dyker Heights Civic Association was founded to represent the interests of the community.
