Hamilton Heights Manhattan, NY Private Investigator and Process Server

Hamilton Heights located in the northern part of the Manhattan district in New York City. It is a community located between Washington Heights to the north and Manhattanville to the south and within it is a sub-neighborhood called Sugar Hill. The Hamilton Heights South Border is marked 135th Street, the 155th Street North Border, the Edgecombe Avenue East Border and the Riverside Drive West Border.

The founding father was Alexander Hamilton, from where the name of the neighborhood comes. When it was still much farmland, Hamilton spent the last two years of his life living in the area in exactly what is now the Hamilton Grange National Memorial. Hamilton Heights located within Manhattan Community District 9. It has a population density of approximately 47,531 people according to a 2016 census. The numbers 10039, 10031, and 10032 are contributed as zip codes. The 30th Precinct of the New York City Police Department patrols and guards the area.

In the leafy eastern streets of Hamilton Heights are prominently lined up in rows of brownstone and other types of houses, as well as spacious apartment buildings. The neighborhood is home to an important black professional class. A new movement of middle-class blacks came to the area after the renaissance of the 1960s and 1970s. In the 1980s a large number of Latinos, mostly Dominicans, came to the neighborhood. Today, the Hispanic population predominates in the area, followed by whites, African Americans and Antilleans. Hamilton Heights is currently a neighborhood of attention for many teachers, actors, and artists.
