Hewlett Neck is one of the towns that are part of Nassau County located within the Long Island district in New York City in the United States of America. According to the data provided by the registration conducted in 2010 during the national census, the population of Hewlett Neck composed of about 445 people residing in the area at that time. The Hewlett Neck community more specifically established within the large city of Hempstead.

Within the Five Cities, the village of Hewlett Neck is considered included. Other villages such as Cedarhurst and Lawrence are also generally included within the Five Cities area, as well as the main villages of Inwood, Woodmere, and The Hewletts which in turn is divided into other small villages such as Hewlett, Hewlett Harbor, Woodsburgh, Hewlett Bay Park, and Hewlett Neck. It attributed to the number 11598 as its primary code to be used in the village postal service.

This town is characterized mostly by its old plantations with very large properties, large houses, villas, and mansions, many of which date back to the time of the American Revolution and still retain their structure, thus attracting the attention of many buyers. Like the other villages that belong to the area known as The Hewletts, retains a particular and unique character highlighting the rural affluence of the town, thus having characteristics similar to the best known Costa Dorada of the North Coast that unlike the rest of the towns that are part of the county of Nassau, did not become a very urbanized area.
