Huntington Bay is a thriving and busy town that is part of Suffolk County that is established on the north coast of Long Island established specifically within East Neck, in New York City of the United States of America. The population of this town for the year 2010 was composed of about 1,425 inhabitants covering the area, of which in turn consisted of 454 families and 539 households according to data recorded during the national census that same year. The community of Huntington Bay is also one of the villas that are part of the great city of Huntington.

It is assigned the number 11743 to be used as its main code in the village postal service. The town of Huntington Bay covers an area of about 1.9 square miles or 4.9 km2 in total, of which 47.32% is water, while 1.0 square miles or 2.6 km2 are lands, according to data provided by the U.S. Census Bureau. Mayor Herbert Morrow along with the support of four trustees are the representatives who head the system of government within the village of Huntington Bay.

Current trustees include Highway Commissioner including Don Rave, Mark Dara, and Jay Meyer, Police Commissioner Dominic Spada and Deputy Mayor. Also, seven officials in charge of administration by five members of the Zoning Appeals Board composed of court clerk Danielle Catanese, President Jay Cavanagh, attorney Andrew Lawrence, and of course village judge Stephen Kunken, highlights the participation of village administrator Gail Devol. The community of Huntington Bay has the advantage of having its police department.
