Jackson Heights is a vibrant middle-class neighborhood with an amazing public school system, affordable restaurants, and a lot of public transportation options. The unique architectural design of its residential buildings is what makes Jackson Heights one of the most distinctive neighborhoods in Queens. That is also the reason why a big part of the community was listed as a Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places.
