Currently, Jamaica Hills has a notable diverse population, has a big mix of Hispanic, African American, South Asian, and Caucasian residents. Many Greek immigrants live in the area too, thanks to the inauguration of a Greek Orthodox church in the 1960s. 107th Precinct of the New York Police Department is responsible for patrolling Jamaica Hills.
