Little Italy Manhattan, NY Private Investigator and Process Server

Little Italy is an area located in the southern part of the Manhattan borough of New York City. Its name derives due to the large number of Italians who emigrated to the area, and today most of its population are Italo-Americans. It is located south of Nolita, west of the Lower East Side and Bowery, east of Tribeca and Soho and north of Chinatown. Today it is composed mostly of Italian restaurants and a few shops.

After the World Trade Center bombing on September 11, several areas of the neighborhood were cut off. Due to these closures, Little Italy declined financially, which affected the lives of its residents and Chinatown. However, this did not affect the continuation of the festival of San Genaro on September 13 and all this decadence unleashed a motivation on the part of some residents to want to rebuild their home, creating new efforts to stop it from collapsing.

The neighborhood had an increase in real estate in 2003 because many luxury stores were opened in the area, which made it difficult for residents with more time in the area to stay there. After the catastrophe, Little Italy managed to get up a bit, being included in the National Register of Historic Places along Chinatown as a single historic district. Previously consisted of many more restaurants with Italian cuisine, but from 2013 and for more than a year, great restaurant closed their doors leaving the neighborhood a little dead compared to its previous years. The postal service of Little Italy serves under the zip code 10013.
