At the beginning of the twentieth century it was developed, Little Neck Hills, a hilly small but prestigious section of the Little Neck neighborhood located northeast of Queens Township, stretching from the Long Island railroads to the south to Little Neck Bay. That’s why it shares a lot of similarities with Little Neck.
Close to Long Island, which borders Nassau County, residents can easily and quickly access local services in adjoining neighborhoods. It also has Grand Central Parkway and Glen Oaks nearby. In addition to being able to move and travel by bus and train that reaches the entire center of the city of Manhattan.
Little Neck Hills, like Little Neck in general, has several houses at considerably different costs, consequently, each family can get a home based on its resources and economic range.
Almost all of Little Neck Hills is made up of beautiful tree-lined streets, and there are a variety of shops and restaurants with excellent food throughout the Northern Boulevard.
This neighborhood is dominated by single-family houses, two-family homes, and three-family homes, as well as low-rise buildings. The houses are modest with colonial and Tudor styles very nicely decorated. Also, some bungalows and even some elaborate mansions stretching across the length of Little Neck Hills.
In recent years, former residents have sold their homes being bought by a notorious number of immigrants, mostly Asian who have demolished and modified their homes.
It’s a diverse, comfortable and refreshing neighborhood that also has a good school system, an attractive element for many residents of the area.
