Middle Village located in the central section of the district of Queens, New York, which is part of Queens Community District 5 and its zip code is 11379. It is primarily a residential neighborhood located south of Long Island Highway, and north of the Montauk Branch and Cooper Avenue railroad tracks. Mount Olivet Cemetery is east of Middle Village and Woodhaven Boulevard is west and patrolled by Enclosure 104 of the New York City Police Department. Also, districts 29 and 30 of the New York City Council diplomatically represent the Middle Village neighborhood.

Several neighborhoods are located around Middle Village, to the north by Elmhurst, to the west by Maspeth and Ridgewood, to the south by Glendale and finally to the east by Rego Park.

Most of the houses in the neighborhood are of the single-family type and many of them are attached to their adjacent homes with the same characteristics.

In the early nineteenth century, Middle Village received that name thanks to its central location is the midpoint between Jamaica, Williamsburg, Queens, and Brooklyn. The neighborhood was populated by people of English descent around 1816.

Authentically, Middle Village has had a mainly German population, until recently it was mostly Italian. But relatively cheap rents and the central location have attracted immigrants from various parts of the world, so later, he became American Irish and Yugoslavian-American. And even many Latin Americans emigrated.

This working-class, quiet and bustling neighborhood houses many of the best in New York.
