Old Place Staten Island, NY Private Investigator and Process Server

Situated along the northwestern portion of the New York City borough of Staten Island lies Old Place, a quaint little residential neighborhood bounded by Bloomfield, Western Avenue, Forest Avenue, South Avenue, Arlington, and Mariner’s Marsh Park. The community is also close to Mariners Harbor and Graniteville. Old Place together with the fellow neighborhoods of Willowbrook, Arlington, Westerleigh, Castleton Corners, West Brighton, Clifton Concord, Tompkinsville, Elm Park, Sunnyside, Fort Wadsworth, Stapleton, Grymes Hill, Silver Lake, Livingston, Shore Acres, Meiers Corners, St. George, New Brighton, Rosebank, Port Ivory, Randall Manor, and Port Richmond make up the Staten Island Community Board 1. The Board has played a key role in the redevelopment of Old Place.

The neighborhood is patrolled by the capable officers over at the 121st Precinct of the New York City Police Department, and its ZIP code is 10307. The town’s demographic is predominantly white. However, in recent years, there has been an influx of Hispanic and Latino residents moving into the neighborhood. Also, there’s a longstanding African-American community residing in Old Place. Visiting one of the oldest neighborhoods in Staten Island is a wonderful experience for Newyorkers looking to re-connect with the old New York City, before highrises and gentrification. Goethals Bridge is the entrance to Old Place, a town founded sometime during the 1750s around a creek called Old Place Creek from which the village was named after.

Public transportation is a huge problem for the residents of Old Place, there is no access no the NYC Subway System or the Staten Island Ferry. Only one bus route serves the community.
