East Tremont Bronx, NY Private Investigator and Process Server

East Tremont is an area which is located in the western part of the Bronx municipality of New York City. It is considered a residential area since its land is mostly comprised of apartment buildings of approximately 6 floors, houses, and other residential buildings in the process of construction. Surrounded by many different streets and avenues; north of Cross-Bronx Expressway, east of Southern Boulevard and south of East 180th Street.

The best way to tour the neighborhood is through its main avenue East Tremont Avenue, which is a long street that extends throughout Tremont through different parks in the area and commercial premises. One of the most famous parks in the area is Tremont Park, a family recreation area located in the central East Tremont. It has baseball fields, restrooms, pet areas, handball fields, spray showers, and more.Another park with the same activities but smaller is in the west wing of East Tremont, the Richman (Echo) Park. The word “eco” was added to its name because, for decades, the inhabitants of the area have only called Echo Park, due to the perfect echo that is heard among its rocky masses.

East Tremont was formerly vaguely known as Bronx Park South, by the inhabitants of the southwest zone of the Bronx zoo. Originally almost the entire territory was owned by the Lorillard family who owned the large Lorillard Tobacco Company. It has a population of about 43,000 people of which the majority is African American with more than 12,000 inhabitants in the area.
