Eastchester Bronx, NY Private Investigator and Process Server

Eastchester is an area located in the northern part of the Bronx municipality of New York City. It’s considered a working-class place. It is considered a working-class site because of its multiple banks and locals in the area. It is located south of Parkside, east of Edenwald, west of the Hutchinson River Pkwy and north of Baychester. It contains the northern part of the Northeast Bronx Educational Park which it shares with Baychester.

The best way to travel Eastchester is through its main road Dyre Avenue that passes through the different shops in the neighborhood, like the shopping mall called Shopwell Plaza. It contains the Edenwald sub-section, a middle-class area. Its name comes from the ancient existence of a town called Eastchester, located about 6 miles north of the current Eastchester, which over the years, both areas were united in an extension in the nineteenth century as a form of the multiple annexes of the city of New York. The now called Mount Vernon was part of that annex process, although it later separated from Eastchester and followed its path as an independent area, which is now much more prosperous than Eastchester.

At the time of all these changes, the neighborhood was largely dominated by descendants of Italian emigrants. Despite being considered a commercial neighborhood, Eastchester’s territory is dominated mostly by single-family homes under the power of different public housing projects, but, equally, much of its land is in the industrial district. The Eastchester Postal Service serves under zip codes 10466 and 10475 and is located at Bronx Community Board number 12.
