Edenwald is a sub-section of the Eastchester area of the Bronx borough of New York City. It is located north of East Bronx, south of Parkside, and east of Wakefield is located specifically in the west wing of Eastchester. The fastest way to get to Edenwald is through its main street; 233rd Street. This street runs through Seton Falls Park, an extensive recreational green area in the middle of Edenwald. During the summer, the New York Parks Committee offers free swimming lessons for all ages at this park, along with other family recreational projects of the season. It is a diverse educational area, as well as containing the Edenwald Library, which is home to different schools such as Baychester Middle School, J P Sousa Junior High School, Faith Christian Academy and Bronx Elementary School # 112. The bookstore is considered a very dear place by the community throughout the decades. It opened its doors in 1973 and had an improvement in 2003.

The sub-section has more than 48,000 acres of land with buildings up to 15 floors, a total of more than 2,000 apartments housing more than 5,000 people, due to this massive data, is considered the number one development by the Housing Authority of the City of New York in the Bronx.
