South Ozone Park is an area of the Queens Township of New York City, established in its southwestern area.

The neighborhood extends from the south, where JFK Airport is located, through Van Wyck Expressway to the east, to Aqueduct Racetrack to the west.

Interestingly, despite its name, South Ozone Park is located mostly east of the Ozone Park neighborhood, and not south as the name implies.

South Ozone Park lies south of Richmond Hill. Old Howard Beach and Howard Beach are located in the southwest. Springfield Gardens, South Jamaica and Jamaica are to the east.

South Ozone Park has a principal business area called Rockaway Boulevard.

One of the neighborhood’s principal sources of income is from Liberty Avenue, which is an area with many small businesses.

The education in South Ozone Park is quite diverse, with schools of all kinds.

The first campus was founded in September 2009 under the guidance of the Board of Directors and is located at 126th Street.

Three years later, specifically on September 11, 2012, the second campus, located at 128th Street, 111th Avenue, was opened to students.
